Culture

The coastline in the waters of the Colombian Pacific is home to different indigenous communities such as Waunnam, Embera and Awá, but it also has a cultural heritage inherited from the former slaves of the colonial era, which they maintain through music, clothing and some customs, where their African roots still live.

The biogeographical Chocó is home to diverse ecosystems from the south of Panama to the north of Peru. This territory full of mangrove forests, vast tropical humid forests and diverse aquatic ecosystems contains natural sanctuaries where the flora and fauna dazzle its locals and visitors.
